Brick tile slips 15mm thick were used on the existing brick which was drab also extensions had been built with different bricks that didn’t match A brick cladding make-over using thin brick tiles transformed this house.
Installed were Celina Klinka slips a German-made 15mm real clay brick tile to improve the looks of this London House.
The existing brickwork was tired and mismatched with the various brick used for extensions that had been built over the years. Once the walls had been cleaned and washed down the entire property was re-faced with real brick cladding or brick slips or brick tiles as they are sometimes referred to. Brick tiles are the same as real bricks but just thinner!
We are also able to supply brick tiles cut from most UK and foreign bricks in both imperial or metric. We can even supply and install re-claimed bricks which be sliced into brick tiles. Corner detail is not a problem as the bricks can be cut into full corner pieces ensuring no joints are present, this ensures a perfect seamless finish. Pointing was undertaken using the injection method, this involves the use of a large mastic gun that injections the pointing grout material into the joints. In the right hands this method of pointing brick provides a neat and tidy finish
We can also use this brick cladding sytem to provide a new brick finish when stone cladding, pebble dash or render has been removed from a house
A 15mm frost resistant brick tile was used in this makeover making the job perfect for the British weather
Brick slips were sourced from the excellent German manufacturer Celina Klinker
